Oz Tour 2019: Power Company Climbing is Coming to Australia!

I’ve always wanted to climb on the Taipan Wall. More accurately, I’ve always wanted to fall off of the Taipan Wall. I mean, what climber doesn’t?? When my flight watching app told me that tickets were REALLY cheap to Sydney, I impulsively bought two tickets and announced on the podcast that I was coming. Emails flooded in. What started as a dream climbing trip has become a dream climbing trip + workshops and meet ups!

I’ll be doing workshops in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth - as well as plenty of time off for climbing in the Blue Mountains, the Grampians, Mt. Arapiles, and likely a few other areas.

We’ve also scheduled a couple of live podcast events - one at SICG Villawood where I’ll talk with the owners of the gym, Rob and Carlie LeBreton, as well as Aussie superstar Monique Forestier. We’ll also be doing a sausage sizzle to benefit access at the Grampians. At North Walls in Melbourne I’ll be talking with Australia’s Olympic Bouldering Coach, Will Hammersla, with beers from a new climber owned brewery coming to the area - Alchemy Brewing.

I couldn’t come to Australia without a couple of beach days, so I’ll be wrapping up the work part of the trip with a couple of member workshops and a Better Coaching workshop at Portside Boulders in Perth, thanks to Ashley Thomas with Axis Coaching.

Details are being ironed out, and more dates and locations are being considered - but you can check out what we already have up for registration below!

Don’t forget to grab your Limited Edition Oz Tour 2019 tee with your registration! These Heather Blue tees are a climber favorite tri-blend fabric, printed by a local Sydney company. They’ll only be available at registration and during the events - and when the are sold out, they are gone forever!
